Types of Beer Glass

Pint Glasses

A true classic, the tulip style pint glass can be found in homes and pubs up and down the country. These glasses are normally produced from toughened glass, giving them added strength and stability, making them a durable and practical choice.

Glass Tankards

These glasses are based on the traditional tankard design and make the perfect gift for celebrations and anniversary events. This sturdy handled glass has faced an upsurge in popularity in recent years, especially for those we their own ‘back garden pub’.

Stemmed Beer Glasses

Stemmed glasses have a thick glass construction with a wide bowl allowing the flavour of the drink to be fully captured and appreciated, whilst the stem allows the liquid to be swirled and the aromas released. These glasses are most suited for serving bottled beers and are perfect for lagers and Belgian beers.

Pilsner Glasses

Pilsner glasses are tall and thin, with little curvature at the top, and are designed for lighter beers. The tapered shape and wide mouth helps retain the head and allows the aroma of the hops to be released. These glasses were originally created for the pale Pilsner lager from the Czech Republic; the perfect glass to appreciate this sharp, crisp taste.
